Hi, I’m Missy

—a storyteller, seeker, and the soul behind The Living Page.

You’ll often find me wandering through pages of books, capturing light with my camera, and reflecting on faith in the in-between moments. Whether it’s snapshots from my travels, Sunday letters from the heart, or musings on grace and growth, this is where I gather life’s unfolding stories.

The page

The Living Page is a slow and thoughtful blog that explores faith, life, books, and photography. Within these pages, you will find honest reflections on discovering glory in the ordinary, glimpses from everyday adventures, bookish musings, and light captured on film. This space is a living archive of words and images—a collection of the pages I have lived, the ones I’m currently writing, and the ones still unwritten.

The story so far

The Living Page is more than a blog; it’s my journal of becoming. It serves as a soft space where words rest, wonders bloom, and every little discovery finds its place.

I created this space to share my faith journey, to reflect on the small and sacred moments, to disciple through words. It is where faith meets storytelling, where I capture lessons and glimpses of God’s grace. It is a gentle reminder that we are all works in progress, and every page matters in the story He is writing.

What Brought Me Back to Writing

I once tried to recall a memory from years ago, yet the details were hazy, slipping further away the harder I reached for them. I also remember reading that our minds often rewrite memories, replacing the truth with details we mistakenly believe are real. Even photographs couldn’t quite capture what we wanted to hold on to. That thought stirred something in me. I realized I’m in a season of change—a season of rediscovering myself, rebuilding my heart and soul in Jesus. I don’t want to lose these moments to time. I want to write things down, to remember what God is teaching me, and to keep track of the journey He’s leading me through. So, I returned to writing, to the rhythm that once felt like home. The Living Page was born from that desire.

The heart

My mission is to notice what is easily overlooked and share it with care—to highlight small moments, honest words, and quiet images that speak of grace and growth. I hope to create a space for you to pause, see beauty in the ordinary, and remember that you are not alone on your unfolding journey. May these pages remind you that growth is rarely instant, that wonder exists in the everyday, and that we are all stories—still becoming.
